The Youth are looking for people who are willing to come and serve in our fun and energetic group of leaders. This may include greeting/ ushering, encouraging teens, leading small group discussion, setting up and taking part in games and activities, security, road trip supervisors or meeting and welcoming youth.
The goal of this ministry is to provide opportunity for youth to make life-advancing decisions.
It is an asset if you are comfortable with speaking in small groups or occasionally in the main youth service. A willingness to serve where needed and an ability to speak into a youth's life are highly regarded in this ministry.
There are numerous ways a leader could serve depending on your interest and time commitment. We have a need for people in our Sunday morning service greeting/ushering, singing or playing in band, sharing testimony or meeting and encouraging youth. We also need leaders on Tuesday or Friday nights who can lead small group discussions, set up and take down games and activities and possibly overseeing 'Mini Ministries'. We are also in need of special events leaders that may supervise road trips, work security or welcome youth.
TIME COMMITMENT – You may choose the frequency that you serve in this ministry, but once a month is recommended. The Tuesday or Friday night commitment is roughly three hours once a week.
The Camera Operator captures our services and special events on video, we also broadcast the feed to the main screen in the auditorium and to other screen around the building for accessibility.
The primary goal of our team is to support the goals of our church through high quality creative and technical support. We strive to enhance the experience of our guest by providing visual support.
Prior experience is an asset but not required. A willingness to learn is key. After joining our team you will be trained in the following areas:
Setting up and maintaining our video equipment. Video coverage over our services, special events and in-house produced video.

The Audio Engineer provides sound reinforcement and support to the singers, musicians, actors and speakers onstage. In addition, there is opportunity to get involved with recording/mixing and sound for film.

Prior experience is an asset but not required. A willingness to learn is key. After joining our team you will be trained in the following areas:
The Audio Engineer is typically the first person to arrive at the event and the last to leave. Within our team we provide almost all People's Church events with audio support. System maintenance and repair we also share.
TIME COMMITMENT – Although you may choose the frequency to which you serve, ideally the minimum would be once a month in order to advance in skill development. In addition to the scheduled date is the preparation.
Purpose: To provide a creative, refreshing, adventure-based, spiritually charged environment for children, youth, and adults.
We will accomplish this through:
* Nature's beauty experienced in a beautiful setting
* Developing all season structures in the western theme. For example: western town, and Indian village
* Providing natural recreation, horseback riding, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, etc.
* Individual and team sports challenges. For example: military rope course, paintball and archery.
* Relationship building. For example: barn socials, picnics, retreats, seminars
To lead congregation in worship by using gifting with vocals or instruments.
Varied musical skills for vocals or instruments from beginner to advanced, and
ability to work well with others.

The Food ministry has a need for a volunteer who can help with shopping for groceries.
To share the love of God with people through one of the basic needs that all people share, the need for nourishment.
May be asked to create a shopping list based on Chef Shaun's needs. Will most often be asked to shop for groceries from a list that has been prepared in advance.
It is the responsibility of the shopper to take a list that has been prepared or agreed upon between the Chef and the shopper and purchase the groceries on budget and on time.
TIME COMMITMENT – This will vary dependent on upcoming events etc.
The Food ministry has a need for a volunteer who can help with serving food during special events or help prepare trays of food for Sunday Morning at Volunteer Central.

Food serving experience is an asset, but not necessary.
During Special Events at People's, Food servers will be required to fill the tables with food and keep a keen eye on the chafing dishes to ensure that they are being refilled at the appropriate times.

Grand Central is part of the first impressions team. It is an area that provides the newcomer with information on People's Church, Sermon CD's, Resource Books, and takes interac payment for Tithes and Offering.
The primary goal of our team is to serve the goals of our church to the attendees by representing People's Church in an easy access way. Easy access to information; easy access to resources and easy access to service.
The Grand Central Team requires hosting skills, a comfort with interacting with people, and problem solving. After joining the team you will be trained in:
It is the responsibility of the Grand Central Team to be onsite one half hour before service starts. That they have the required name tag on for easy identification for the new guest.

To repair, renovate and address any needs of our building.
The primary goal of our team is to support the goals of our church through high quality creative support on our inside appearance. We strive to enhance the experience of our guest by presenting an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere.
You need to enjoy handyman work, such as carpentry, electrical maintenance, and wear and tear upkeep of a building.
The responsibilities of this area is to present a fresh and inviting experience to the public.
