The Audio Engineer provides sound reinforcement and support to the singers, musicians, actors and speakers onstage. In addition, there is opportunity to get involved with recording/mixing and sound for film.
The primary goal of our team is to support the goals of our church though high quality creative and technical support. We strive to enhance the experience of our guest by providing transparent audio support.
Prior experience is an asset but not required. A willingness to learn is key. After joining our team you will be trained in the following areas:
- Operating our equipment i.e. digital sound consoles, operating software, recording software, etc.
- Mixing live sound; Routing signal, EQ and other signal processing, using effects.
The Audio Engineer is typically the first person to arrive at the event and the last to leave. Within our team we provide almost all People's Church events with audio support. System maintenance and repair we also share.
TIME COMMITMENT – Although you may choose the frequency to which you serve, ideally the minimum would be once a month to in order to advance in skill development. In addition to the scheduled date is the preparation.
