Goals
The primary goal of our team is to support the goals of our church through high quality creative representation through our web media. Providing up-to-date, accurate information and illustration is our priority.
Skills
The skill set needed will entirely depend on which aspect of the web team you become involved in (see overview). However: you will not NEED any experience to join our team. you will only need a desire to learn and a willingness to serve.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of our team members vary with the task. Some may include:
- Researching information about People's programs and events
- Entering information to keep our website current
- Going to events to collect information in the form of written interview or photographs
- Organizing and posting resources on our website
Requirements
TIME COMMITMENT – Although you may choose the frequency to which you serve, ideally the minimum would be 1 - 2 hours weekly.

Visual Programmer
Overview
The VISUAL PROGRAMMING team visually enhances worship services and special events by providing song lyrics, video, and sermon notes to better help the attendees to engage in the event.
Goals
The primary goal of our team is to support the goals of our church through high quality creative and technical support.
Skills
The Visual Programming position requires only basic computer skill, attention to detail and a willingness to learn. After joining our team you will be trained in the following areas:
Operating our equipment i.e. projector, computer, scalar/switcher, lighting, etc.
Learning the Mediashout software to create and present compelling presentations that captivate the viewer.
Responsibilities
It is the responsibly of the Visual Programmer to prepare and compile the presentation for the event that he or she is scheduled for. (You will be assisted in this process.)

Photographer
Overview
To capture People's people, events and other for print material, website, social media, videos and memories.
Goals
The primary goal of our team is to support the goals of our church through high quality creative imagery. We strive to enhance our brand, communications and promotions.
Skills
- A good understanding of camera functions, lighting, etc.
- A good sense of 'photo-op'.
Responsibilities
Photo coverage over our services, special events and in-house produced video.

Camera Operator
Overview
The Camera Operator captures our services and special events on video, we also broadcast the feed to the main screen in the auditorium and to other screen around the building for accessibility.
Goals
The primary goal of our team is to support the goals of our church through high quality creative and technical support. We strive to enhance the experience of our guest by providing visual support.
Skills
Prior experience is an asset but not required. A willingness to learn is key. After joining our team you will be trained in the following areas:
- Operating our equipment i.e. cameras, lighting, etc.
- Capturing video to computer, editing software and rendering.
Responsibilities
Setting up and maintaining our video equipment. Video coverage over our services, special events and in-house produced video.

Audio Engineer
Overview
The Audio Engineer provides sound reinforcement and support to the singers, musicians, actors and speakers onstage. In addition, there is opportunity to get involved with recording/mixing and sound for film.
Goals
The primary goal of our team is to support the goals of our church through high quality creative and technical support. We strive to enhance the experience of our guest by providing transparent audio support.
Skills
Prior experience is an asset but not required. A willingness to learn is key. After joining our team you will be trained in the following areas:
- Operating our equipment i.e. digital sound consoles, operating software, recording software, etc.
- Mixing live sound; Routing signal, EQ and other signal processing, using effects.
Responsibilities
The Audio Engineer is typically the first person to arrive at the event and the last to leave. Within our team we provide almost all People's Church events with audio support. System maintenance and repair we also share.
