Purpose
To inspire others by using gifts to write and create music, poetry, art or drama.
Job Description
- To use natural giftings to create music, poetry, art or drama that can be used to illustrate, enhance, or cause people to question and research more of what God is speaking to the church through messages for Sunday services or events.
- To work at developing gifts in any of these creative areas.
Skills
Advanced skills or basic skills with a commitment to developing.
Commitment:
3 month trial: At this time a discussion will take place to answer questions like:
- Is the volunteer satisfied with the role they are playing in the ministry?
- Is the volunteer suited for this particular ministry or do they have stronger gifts in another area that could be used to better serve the church and their own satisfaction?
Further Commitments: To be constantly working at writing or creating so that these creations can be used to illustrate or enhance what God is speaking to the church.

Support
Purpose
To use gifts as a support to drama in any way that is needed
Job Description
Making or gathering props or costumes, working with make-up or to just be available to help in any other support roles for drama.
Stage hands to be available during dramas to move props on or off and help organize them etc.
Skills
Carpentry, Sewing, Building, Painting, Make-up, or general creativity.
Commitment:
Basic commitment: to be involved in a support role for one or two dramas to determine whether the volunteer is suited for a drama support role or whether they have other skills that could better serve the church and their own needs.
Further Commitments: Time commitments will be determined by the size of the production, the role of the volunteer and the amount of time needed to work with actors, to gather or create props, sets, or costumes etc.. This commitment will be clearly laid out as much as possible to the volunteer before accepting the role.

Director
Purpose
To use directing abilities to bring the most inspiring and artistic production forward.
Job Description
To give actors and support ministries direction to bring out their best performance
Skills
To be able to pay attention to small details while not losing sight of the big picture and the need to create flow.
Ability to envision what the production should be and how each person involved can do their part to achieve it.
To be able to give clear direction without offending.
Commitment:
Trial Commitment: To commit to working under another director for a drama or two to determine if this is a ministry match for you, both in skills and time commitment.
Further Commitments: If it is determined that you have the skills needed to direct, the time commitment will be a discussion between you and the leader in order to come to an agreement on how much time will be required to direct a specific drama or an ongoing commitment.

Actor
Purpose
To use acting skills to further illustrate a message, inspire people or to cause them to question or research truth.
Job Description
- Learning lines before rehearsals
- Being open to direction in staging or delivery
- To bring the best of abilities and attitudes to rehearsals and performances
Skills
- Varied skill levels that can be used for small parts or main character roles
- Ability to learn lines and deliver them well. Until actors know their lines and can deliver them well it is difficult for a director to "feel" the flow of the production and to know what needs attention.
- Flexibility toward director and other actors
- Stage presence and confidence
- Ability to adjust to the unexpected (ad-lib if needed)
Commitment:
Trial commitment: A commitment to involvement in a drama or two at which time it can be determined whether the volunteer is suited for drama or may have stronger gifts to be used in other areas to better serve the church and their own passions.
Further Commitments: Time commitments will be determined by the size of the production, the role of the volunteer and the amount of time needed to learn parts, amounts of rehearsals needed etc. and will be clearly laid out to the volunteer before accepting the role.
