Investment Opportunity

We would like to inform you of a great opportunity. Currently, People’s Church mortgage consists of both non-registered (cash) and registered (RRSP) funds. The non-registered bonds are managed internally by the church at no cost while the registered bonds require the involvement of a trust company and are charged administration fees accordingly.  Recently our trust company was acquired by another institution and as a result, the administration fees are going up exorbitantly. Our Administration Board has decided to buy out the registered bonds no later than Oct. 1 of this year. 

As a valued part of People’s Church, we would like to give you the opportunity to be a part of the purchase of the non-registered bonds. The amount being raised is 750,000 with an annual interest rate of 5%. There will be no administration fees on this new issue and they mature no later than January 31, 2029.

Summer Challenge

Summer is traditionally a little bit of a slower time for most of us as we seek recuperation from our demanding schedules, etc.

The church actually increases in program busyness through this time. Six different camps will be offered for children and youth, along with three long weekends for adults and families!
 
The point is this is a great season for God’s work, and we need your continued partnership financially! Would you take on the Summer Challenge with us?
 
We very much need strong participation from you going into the summer this year. I am so thankful for those of you, that have stood with us through the ongoing challenge of sharing the gospel to our generation and our time!  I ask you to stay strong with us through these months as we make the most of the opportunities it brings to reach people for Jesus. 
 
For those of you who have not participated in this, I would encourage you to take on some giving, as it is more of us sharing the blessing of giving that is the key. The participation of the many makes for so many possibilities.
