Sunday School Teacher
Overview
The Children's Ministry Team could always use people who are willing to serve by teaching the age three to five year old class on Sunday mornings.
Goals
Our goal is to provide children with a fun and engaging environment to learn about Christ's amazing love and purpose for each child's life.

- Ability to teach a predetermined and prepared curriculum in a fun and engaging manner
Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of the teacher to pre-read their curriculum before arriving in class, to come to class a half hour before service starts, and put some of the toys out for the kids. It is also the teacher's responsibility to warmly greet the children and their parents and then provide a safe and caring environment that is fun and engaging. To deliver curriculum to the children using our fantastic curriculum and prepare a fun game or craft to accompany the message.

TIME COMMITMENT – You may choose the frequency that you serve in this ministry, but once a month is recommended.

Nursery Caregivers
Overview
The Nursery Caregivers work as part of a team to provide loving, nurturing and safe caregiving to children less than 3 years of age during the Sunday morning service.
Goals
The primary goal of our team is to provide the highest quality of care to our church's youngest members so that parents are able to relax and feel safe knowing their children are being cared for. This act of service helps remove barriers to parents being able to engage in the Sunday morning service.
Skills
The Nursery Caregiver position requires basic childcare skills such as:
- Baby snuggling
- Bottle feeding
- Diaper changing
- Baby Burping
Nursery caregivers also need to be willing to engage in age appropriate playful interactions with children.
Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of the Nursery Caregiver to arrive at the Nursery a half hour before the service on Sunday mornings and come willing to serve the children by greeting parents and children with warmth, safely and age appropriately engage in play with the children, change diapers, bottle feed, snuggle and rock babies and assist parents with arrival and pick up of child.
Requirements
TIME COMMITMENT – Although you may choose the frequency to which you serve, ideally the minimum would be once a month in order to develop rapport with parents, children and nursery team.
Paperwork: You will be provided with an application form, job description, a protection plan and RCMP clearance letter.
