Since becoming a parent, the importance of sleep is becoming more and more clear to me. I don't stay up crazy late - it would be fine if the kids weren't waking up in the night - but because most nights I experience broken sleep, sometimes up to five times in one night, I get up feeling exhausted, unprepared and often down.
